Over the years he has worked tirelessly as the mastermind behind the strategic projects that have enriched his organization with real life knowledge and experience in every facet of the music business. In the realm of music business and industry, he is qualified in the administration of Licensing, Publishing, Booking, Distribution, Events and Artist Promotions, as well as Web based Sales & Marketing.
On the creative side he is known as Jarrard Anthony, and where artistic talents are concerned he is an experienced Music Producer, Vocal Arranger, Singer, Songwriter, and Musician. Jarrard Anthony has successfully branded his company as a pioneer of the indie soul music movement. Jarrard is a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences(GRAMMYS) and is a publishing member of ASCAP. He holds a Bachelor 's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and is also certified in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship.
JAPMEG, a Virginia Corporation, was formed in 2004 as a continuation of, ARTtreprenuer, Jarrard Anthony's JAP Music Publishing(an ASCAP registered publisher since 1998). JAPMEG,Inc. has served as the primary source of artist development, licensing, publishing, production and venue bookings for Jarrard Anthony. Under the brand name and management of JAP Music, Jarrard Anthony has become an internationally known recording artist, and a recognized name in the International Independent music community. Utilizing the foundation laid by JAP Music, JAPMEG is an expansion of services and business operations to include Event Promotions, Music Production, Product Licensing, and Distribution for Independent Soul Music releases.
JAPMEG also serves as a full service independent record label for Urban Alternative and Soul music releases. Self produced, manufactured, and distributed we believe that Indie Soul is more than a musical genre, but a cultural movement.
